GLAM SCOOP: Maison Martin Margiela for H&M, Freida Pinto for Flaunt Magazine, Zara Wins Christian Louboutin Trademark Case

Happy Monday, Glamazons!

Hope you enjoyed the glamaze weather this weekend. I have an exciting week full of fashion events planned so stay tuned via Twitter for all the chai tea. And of course, check in on the blog for ‘A Day in The Life’ posts.

In the meantime, I’ve got the latest happenings in fashion and beauty from around the web. Here’s the scoop:

-Kanye West and Rihanna favorite Maison Martin Margiela is reportedly designing a collection for H&M, via WWD.

Be ready for lots of bold, sculptural shapes, graphic tees and accessories full of edge in Maison Martin Margiela for H&M - coming to H&M this holiday if the fashion gods hear our prayers. – WWD

-Idris Elba is still fine and Glamour France has the picture to prove it. – Saiphifer

-She may never get in American Vogue, but that’s not slowing Kim Kardashian down.

She shows some skin (what else is new?) for Esquire LatinoAmerica in these shots from her swimsuit feature for the mag.

She loves her leather, doesn’t she? – Popsessive

-Madonna continues to shade Lady Gaga, this time doing a mockery performance of Gaga‘s song “Born This Way.” Lady Gaga, to her credit, responded in a very mature manner:

“It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves to put other people down or make fun of them or maybe make mockery of their work. And that doesn’t make me feel good at all. That just makes me feel like I’m not being a good human being. I don’t even want to fight back because it’s more important to me to keep writing music. Because that’s really all I care about, is the music.”

Talk about taking the high road. Madge, let it go. - Huffington Post

-Freida Pinto is everything and more on the cover of Flaunt Magazine‘s July 2012 issue in Versace’s Spring 2012 studded shorts. See more pictures from the editorial below:

SICKENING! – Fashion Bomb Daily

-Am I the only one that gets pleasure seeing Beyonce lose it in the crowd at concerts? Since I do everything short of fainting at her concerts? After getting it in at the Watch The Throne concert on video, Beyonce went wild for Coldplay in the audience, also on video. The fact that no one from the band pulled her onstage to bust into a routine of “Single Ladies” is beyond me. – EverythingYNTK for Vibe Vixen

-In case you aren’t a Nas stan like me and don’t spend your free time searching the internet for every detail about his new album, “Life Is Good,” here’s an update: Nas is pictured on the cover of said new album post-divorce with Kelis‘ infamous green Matthew Williamson wedding dress draped over his knee. YIKES.

The dress in happier times.

Nas expounded on the garment, and its significance for Power Philly 99:

“Yes, it was the real dress. It was in the crib. I didn’t know what to do with it. I don’t think Kelis intentionally left the dress there. I think that was just one of the things that was left behind. I saw it, and it was like ‘wow’, and it’s still in the crib so…I’m not sure if she left it on purpose or what, but I thought it was a good one. I was like “ohh she stung me with that one.” I been through things [that] I thought only happens on TV.”

Green wedding dresses are officially cursed. – Necole Bitchie

-Bad news for Monseiur Louboutin. Zara can now paint the sole of their shoes red without fear. A judge ruled in Zara‘s favor in the counterfeit case Christian Louboutin brought against the mass retailer. Not only did Zara get off scott-free but Louboutin had to pay them $3,600. Get ready for retailers everywhere to start covering their soles in red paint like this guy:

Until tomorrow.
