Get The Look: June Ambrose’s Voluminous Waves at the 2012 CFDA Awards

While some of you weren’t head over heels about June Ambrose‘s shimmering Chris Benz gown at the 2012 CFDA Awards (I loved it for the record!), you unanimously lived for her gorgeous hair. It turns out June‘s voluminous waves were the work of celebrity hairstylist, Shedelle Holmes.

Holmes told The Glamazons exclusively how to get June‘s spectacular look. Here are the deets:

1. I created June‘s waves with a 1/2 inch barrel curling iron.

2. I teased June‘s hair from roots to end, starting from the temple down. I made sure to use John Frieda FRIZZ-EASE Moisture Barrier Firm-Hold Hair Spray on the teased sections.

3. In the front of her head, I created waves only at the ends of her hair, keeping it sleek and soft on top.
