GLAM OR SHAM?: Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow 1960 Sydney Launch Enza Costa Tank, Vanessa Bruno Blazer and Leather Flared Pants
It’s no secret Glamazon Nicole Richie is a superfan of 70s fashion with her billowing maxidresses and trendy headpieces but the Fashion Star judge took her love of the disco era to new heights recently. She stepped out for the House of Harlow 1960 Sydney launch in an outfit straight out of ‘Saturday Night Fever.’
She wore an Enza Costa polka dot blouse under a Vanessa Bruno crepe cropped blazer.
Nicole completed the look with 70s staples: leather flared pants, a burgundy wide brim hat and a fringe House of Harlow 1960 ‘Hayden’ clutch.
Love that hat! She wore House of Harlow 1960 ‘Callan’ suede platform pumps on her feet.
Now, Glamazons, I can spend all day in the bins in the back of my Mom’s closet too, squeezing into jumpsuits and twirling around in floppy hats and vintage shades. But when you dive too far into the 70s realm, you run the risk of looking costume-y, am I right?
I love how the different textures and colors come together but is Nicole going overboard with the 70s look with fringe, a wide-brimmed hat and flared pants? You be the judge!
