2012 #MetGala: Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz in Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz had quite the glamourous date night at the 2012 Met Gala showing up arm in arm dressed in Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci.

Alicia Keys went for Givenchy Couture in a menswear look. While I live for the blazer and that structured flared hem, the pants are ill-fitting, really ruining the moment for me! It’s also quite underwhelming (Michael Kors Project Runway voice) when you think of Rihanna‘s menswear moment in 2009. Hunny, when you do a suit, that’s how you have to do it!

Swizz Beatz actually upstaged his wife at the event, going for a clean velvet tux and bowtie with a pocket square with a pop of red. Nice!

I would’ve loved to do see a dressed-up baby Egypt but maybe they’re saving that for next year. (I’m serious. He’s too cute!)
