GLAM SCOOP: Beyonce Wins Journalism Award, Anna Dello Russo for H&M and Michael Jackson and Nicki Minaj for Pepsi

People Magazine‘s World’s Most Beautiful woman Beyonce can now add award-winning journalist to her resume! The new Mom is being heralded for the cover story she wrote for ESSENCE Magazine‘s July 2011 issue entitled “Eat Pray Love.” The article chronicled the 16 Grammy-award winner’s time away from the spotlight, where she did things like discover her love of artichokes and go undercover as a Harajuku girl.
She will be awarded by The New York Association of Black Journalists for her writing at a May 15 gala. One of MY favorite editors, ESSENCE Magazine‘s Cori Murray said: “She’s a real writer. We had to edit her, but everyone gets edited except Toni Morrison.” Congrats Writer Bey! – iluluonline

The first official image of Nicki Minaj‘s collaboration with Pepsi has been released. Very Nicki! Love it.
The company also tapped the late Michael Jackson for their new campaign. Yes, you read that right. PepsiCo is going on a reunion tour with the King of Pop (with the approval of his estate) and will use his likeness in a TV ad, special edition cans (with his image, below) and chances to download remixes of his most famous songs.
