GLAM SCOOP: Betsey Johnson Bankrupt, Christian Louboutin Designs Cinderella Glass Shoe, Amber Rose’s New Long Hair

Glamazons,

Be happy, it’s Friday! I’ve had a fun-filled week (partying with Nicole Richie, catching Think Like A Man, etc.) and am looking forward to resting (and blogging) through the weekend. What are you up to? Tell me in the comments! Before the official start of the weekend, let’s do one last roundup of fashion and beauty news! Christian Louboutin has a new shoe (drool), Fatima Siad is slaying photoshoots and bad news for Betsey Johnson, here’s the scoop:

In the worst news ever, we learned that Betsey Johnson has filed for bankruptcy and will shut down most of her stores. Her fashion shows and upcoming reality show, however, will go on as planned. We’re whining: Aren’t people buying Betsey? Sorry, this is a shocker to us…and we love her. Hope the business bounces back ASAP. – Fashionista

Conversely, business is booming for Olivia Palermo who just signed on to be the face of a new Rochas fragrance, “Les Cascades de Rochas.” Are we the only ones obsessed with her site? We see style books, clothing lines and more fragrances in her future. – Bella Sugar

After making the short blonde cut her signature, Amber Rose is rocking a new long wig which she has named “Blondie.” Do you love it? – Global Grind

Surprise! Kristen Stewart is still frowning. The Twilight star (who looked chic at Coachella) didn’t even smile for the cover of Elle UK Magazine. Like, what will it take? – Design Scene

We know that Anna Wintour and green or yellow-haired Pharrell are friends…and that Kanye West raps about Anna and is buddies with Pharrell…so it makes perfect sense that the trio all collaborated on Pharrell‘s new coffee table book, “Pharrell: Places and Spaces I’ve Been.” Jay-Z, Nigo of A Bathing Ape and more will be featured in the tome that will be available this October for $55. Must-get! – BET

Christian Louboutin has made my ultimate Cinderella fantasy come true as he is designing a glass slipper! The shoe, which will be revealed in the summer, will celebrate the upcoming rerelease of “Cinderella” on Blu-ray and DVD. Of the honor, Louboutin said: “I have been so lucky to have crossed paths with Cinderella, an icon who is so emblematic to the shoe world as well as the dream world.”  - MTV Style

Cameron Diaz lets her strap ever so seductively slip off for the June 2012 cover of Harper’s Bazaar UK. Seeing as how Katy Perry just did this on the red carpet at the 2012 ASCAP Pop Awards, is it safe to say falling straps are a thing? – Harper’s Bazaar UK

Fatima Siad along with Kelly and Cora Emmanuel pose for their lives in the new issue of Flaunt Magazine. Isn’t it glamazing? See more pics at Beauty Is Diverse.Beauty Is Diverse

Rihanna continues to tease us with videos and stills from her new “Where Have You Been?” clip. See the latest one here:

And catch them all over at iluluonline. I love that she actually said ‘Giggity’ in the video. Amazing. – iluluonline

This is not really fashion news, but it is really distressing me. Why are Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan going to the White House Correspondents Dinner? Oh, Fox News invited them. *Cuts Eyes* – VH1

Have a glam weekend!

Kisses,

Glamazon Jessica
