It’s Friday Glamazons, which means it’s time to prepare for a fabulous weekend! As you can tell, I’m very excited about wrapping up another super-busy week of work. Speaking of work, the adorable actress Reese Witherspoon was working a beautiful makeup look this week at an event in Washington D.C. in honor of International Woman’s Day, which annually takes place on March 8.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with this cause, it’s been around since the early 1900’s as a way of bringing awareness to women’s equality and emancipation around the world, and also to honor women and acknowledge their accomplishments. Reese is an Avon Global Ambassador, so it’s no surprise that this feminine makeup was done by mark makeup artist Mai Quynh, and she used products from both Avon and mark.

Want to get this fresh-faced look for yourself? Here’s what Mai did:

– Mai put the focus on Reese’s eyes, layering a shimmering gold shadow over a soft blend of neutral-colored shadows.

– Next, she upped the drama by using a dark eyeshadow as liner and finished the eyes with a few swipes of black mascara on lashes.

– Next, Mai applied a soft rose cream blush on Reese’s cheeks and added a nude-colored lipstick to enhance Reese’s natural glow.

Ciao Bellas,

Glamazon Margo
