Steal Her Look: Beyonce’s New York City Etro Abstract Maxi Skirt, Michael Kors Neon Cashmere Sweater, Eugenia Kim Lauren Wide Brim Fedora, The Row x Linda Farrow Sunglasses and Topshop Oversized Hoops
Ok, I seriously have tons of accessory favorites in my closet like the Marc by Marc Jacobs tote bag I never leave the house without…like, ever. And I love my Glamazons nameplate necklace so much I just don’t feel like myself without it (cue Carrie Bradshaw). It broke recently and I actually had a Sex and the City finale Paris episode moment (but waay less dramatic) just because I had gotten so use to wearing it. Where am I going with all this? Beyonce has fave accessories she always wears and since celebs get access to every designer piece their heart desires, I respect that she’s found a few great enough to repeat.
For her series of post-Blue Ivy walks to her office or the doctor’s, she’s thrown on her faves: her Eugenia Kim Lauren Wide Brim Fedora, The Row x Linda Farrow Sunglasses and Topshop Oversized Hoops. The triumvirate is a little menswear (fedora), chic (shades) and sassy (those huge hoops!) and the combo suits her.
She wore the pieces once when strolling around with Blue Ivy in the city, styling them with her Easton Pearston printed pants, a black blazer and white shirt. I actually loved that look as the blazer, shirt and pants had a menswear feel which complimented her Eugenia Kim hat, yet the bright pattern still felt very Spring. Get that look here.
Fast-forward to yesterday. Bey stepped out in an Etro Abstract Maxi skirt in silk which features an abstract print, a faux wrap and a centre front gathering. She paired it with a Michael Kors electric pink long-sleeve cashmere sweater, black pointy pumps and of course, her fave accessories. For me, the hat doesn’t mesh as well with this look and feels out of place. But I do love the skirt and the neon top, though they would look better separate as they compete a bit when strewn together.
What do you think of Bey’s latest look? When did she style her Eugenia Kim Lauren Wide Brim Fedora, The Row x Linda Farrow Sunglasses and Topshop Oversized Hoops better?
