#NYFW: Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2012 Plus Theophilus London Rocks Out On The Runway

Rebecca Minkoff is one of my go-to handbag designers because each bag is like it’s own little party. From neon to studs, she adorns her bags with fun details that are perfect for cool, stylish girls with lots of attitude (and she’s a social media junkie, which makes her that much more amazing in my book).

Her Fall 2012 showing at New York Fashion Week fit with her style personality as it was pretty much…another party. She tapped British rapper and fashion phenom, Theophilus London, to perform at her show and guys, he was sososo cool marching down the runway to his hit “I Stand Alone” in a studded leather jacket. Everyone (yes, even fashion girls) couldn’t resist bopping in their seats. The clothes were just as lively.

Here are the deets:

Inspiration:

Rebecca imagined a futuristic, modern-day party girl, with a collection steeped in delectable trends like sequins, digital prints, biker jackets and more.

Key Pieces:

Biker jackets over sexy knit dresses, jewel-tone brocade blazers, sequined pants, jolts of color presented by cross-body bags, kaleidoscope printed dresses.

Who I Could See Wearing This Collection:

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Zoe Kravitz, Solange Knowles.

Don’t you just love the collection, Glamazons?

Check out a pic of Theophilus with designer, Rebecca Minkoff, at the end of the fashion show:

Loved it!

Kisses,

Glamazon Jessica
