#NYFW: J. Mendel Fall 2012

Giles Mendel‘s J. Mendel collection is everything a Glamazon could ever want. I attended the Fall 2012 show yesterday and spotted Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Kelly Osbourne and on the way inside, America’s Next Top Model Toccara. The Olsen twins walked right past me and they are so adorbs and simply fabulous! So was the collection! Here are the deets:

Inspiration:

The inspiration for the collection came from Gaudi’s architecture in Spain, as captured in an old Helmut Newton-lensed editorial for Vogue.

Key Looks:

Perfect for the red carpet, the collection included cashmere, alligator, fox fur, silks, geometric cutouts and more. The ensembles were perfectly tailored and the gowns were breathtaking with uber-feminine details like slits and draping.

Who I Could See Wearing The Collection:

I could totally see Drew Barrymore, one of the Olsen twins or Anne Hathaway wearing any of the designs from the collection…on the red carpet, of course.
