Get The Look: Adele’s Christian Louboutin Manicure at the 2012 Grammys PLUS: Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry’s Nail Designs
Did you ever think you would see the day when the Christian Louboutin red shoe sole turned into a trendy nail look? Well Glamazons, that day has arrived and the grand debut was at the Grammy 2012 red carpet. British songstress Adele was spotted rocking the glam-tastic nail style, which featured a two tone mani in the signature red color using Ciaté Paint Pot in Mistress underneath and a metallic blue named Ciaté Paint Pot in Jewel on top. How clever, right? The singer’s cutting edge nail design was done by manicurist Mike Pocock and I think it was a truly genius idea.
Sidenote: don’t we all just love Adele? Makes complete sense to me why she won 6 Grammys on Sunday. Talented and fashionable, my kinda Glamazon.
Speaking of Glamazons, Barbadian beauty Rihanna left us speechless in a 24 karat gold nail polish gel in shade Amor 24. Giving us a bit of flavor, for the finishing touch her manicurist Kimmie Kyees added a gold dollar sign to her pinky nail. Rih might be the new queen of re-invention, she knows seems to have perfected the art of keeping the public guessing.
Rihanna’s BFF, new single singer Katy Perry also wowed us by rocking a blue French manicure. It was definitely the night of blue for Katy, rocking blue hair, a blue dress and blue nails. She lived up to the all blue everything moniker and she did with such sizzling style.
Last but certainly not least was our favorite “Bad Romance” Lady Gaga. Even though she walked away from the Grammy’s empty-handed “Mother Monster” thrilled us in her signature shocking style which prominently featured shiny black nails.
Even though the Grammys had an almost somber tone due to the untimely passing of pop icon Whitney Houston, the night was certainly memorable and the beauty moments were a Glamazon’s dream come true.
