GLAM SCOOP: Taylor Swift Covers Vogue, Sanaa Lathan for Pantene, Lea Michele for Candie’s

Happy MLK Day, Glamazons!

How is everyone’s extended weekend going? Glam I hope. Did you all catch the 2012 Golden Globes last night? If not check out the hot and not so hottest looks and how to get some of your favorite looks here. My fellow Glamazons were on it last night while I was recovering from an allergic reaction [it has got to be the worst thing ever eating something and then finding out your allergic to it! ugh!] but they did a fab job, don’t you agree?

So in addition to our coverage of the glamorous start of Awards Season, we’ve got your latest fashion and beauty news. Let’s go!

Taylor Swift’s First Vogue Cover

Taylor Swift has finally landed on the cover of Vogue! And, she looks ADORBS. She totes channels her natural beauty wearing straight tresses, a floppy hat and a chartreuse sweater. Cayute! What do you think of this first peek, Glamazons? Stay tuned for more pics! [Styleite]

One of my girl crushes, Sanaa Lathan has landed herself a gig as the new face of Pantene‘s Nature Fusion Line. The campaign promises to be stunning and to celebrate Sanaa’s natural beauty (isn’t she gorg?). What do you think of this first look? Isn’t it about time Sanaa got a beauty gig? [Blaq Vixen Beauty]

Solange Knowles, Oroma Elewa and Julia Sarr-Jamois Walk in Alberta Ferretti Show

Glamazon Solange has been going full-throttle with her fashion takeover and we are loving every minute of it. Recently, she, Oroma Elewa and Julia Sarr-Jamois walked in the Alberta Ferretti Pre-Fall 2012 show. Check out video here:

They each walked with confidence and sophistication that commanded the room. WERQUE!  [Beauty Is Diverse]
Alice Dellal for Marc by Marc Jacobs

Alice Dellal is fashion’s latest IT Girl (though she’s been cool for awhile, she practically started the half-shaven head craze). The Glamazon just landed her second major campaign of the season with Marc by Marc Jacobs (her first is for Chanel’s new Boy bag). She looks supercool in these photos, right? Don’t you live for this ad? [Daily Mail UK]
Beyonce Designs For President Obama’s Campaign

Photobucket

Beyonce and Mama/Grandmama Tina teamed up to design a t-shirt for President Obama‘s re-election campaign. The shirt features a collage of positive phrases such as “words do inspire” and “yes we can.” The shirt went on sale today and can be purchased here. What do you think of fashion folks getting involved in political campaigns (Andre Leon Talley’s rant not included, lol)? [The Cut Blog]
Lea Michele For Candies

Glee actress Lea Michele’s epic red carpet moments have caught the attention of Candie’s. She was recently signed as their latest spokeswoman, joining a glam list of former faces including Vanessa Hudgens and Fergie. Congrats, Lea! Don’t you think she’s the perfect choice? [Stylecaster]

Until Tomorrow,

Toodles Luvs!
