GLAM OR SHAM?: Drew Barrymore’s Big Miracle Premiere PORTS 1961 Pre-Fall 2012 Houndstooth Gown

Drew Barrymore is one of my fave actresses (she’s so adorable!) and I LIVE for her Covergirl commercials. When it comes to fashion, she always pushes boundaries and has fun with it. Though I respect how daring she is, I’m not always head over heels about her outfits.

Take her gown at the Big Miracle premiere last night. Drew wore a green, white and black silk blurred houndstooth gown from Ports 1961‘s Pre-Fall 2012 collection.

Ports 1961 is an incredible brand with structured pieces with impeccable tailoring and sophisticated style (I am near tears at their show every season). AND houndstooth is one of the it trends of the Season (I even wore it to meet Lala over the holiday)! And still, from the hoops to the busy print to the makeup, I truly don’t know what to make of this look.
