Trend Alert: Houndstooth like Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga

Trust me on this: the go-to menswear print for Fall is houndstooth. The pattern, which originated in Scotland, gets a sexy spin this season on wrap dresses, fitted jackets and even sequin skirts!
The outfit options with this print are so chic! It’s black and white so it allows for a pop of color (I totally prefer red – from red lipstick to red shoes!).
And it gives your outfit a menswear feel which you can contrast with super-feminine pieces like high heels, sheer blouses, pearls and the list goes on.
Both Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga have embraced the look with Ferragamo’s houndstooth wrap dress.
Kim wore it to appear on the ”Today Show” three days ago. She paired it with black closed-toe pumps, a clutch and red lips. Glamazing!

Lady Gaga was decidedly more extravagant (no surprise there) with a matching houndstooth clutch, hat, sunglasses and pumps along with embroidered tights and layered pearls. She wore the look to “The View” early August.
Who WERKED the wrap dress best? My vote goes with Kim, though Gaga’s fun to look at.
