October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. My favorite Grandmother (yes, I said favorite. what–everyone doesn’t play faves with their grandparents?) is a Breast Cancer Survivor.
So every time I see a pink ribbon or have a chance to donate to the cause in any way, I do. Because I see how the money generated affects people’s lives. I saw where it was going with my Grandmother and where it is going with prevention screenings.
Plus it’s glamazing to engage in some retail therapy for a good cause (instead of feeling guilty, you can feel positive and empowered. Win win!).
