#LFW: Five Spring Trends We Can Expect Next Season
So Glamazons, I have finally finished scouring over the pictures from London Fashion Week S/S 2012 and there are a few trends, five to be exact, that you can expect to see off the runways and on our sidewalks this Spring and Summer.
Check them out!
Take The Plunge
Necklines will continue to take the plunge courtesy of the Spring/Summer Collections by Acne, Burberry Prorsum, and Matthew Williamson, no matter if the look was simple sophistication or edgy.
Prim & Proper
Ladylike prim and proper clothing has gotten quite a new look if Burberry Prorsum, Jonathan Saunders and Louise Grey’s collections are any indication. Prim and proper never looked so… fun!
Racy in Lace
Sheer detailing isn’t anything new when it comes to Spring trends but it takes on a different look when paired with lacy detailing like we saw on Giles, Juilen Macdonald, or Temperly London’s runways.
Stay in The Yellow
Yellow will be huge this fall and we will stay in the yellow next season too according to brands like Acne, Jonathan Saunders and Louise Grey.
Teal Me Anything
Though cobalt blue will be hot this Fall, the hue will lighten up significantly in the Spring. Teal will be your go-to color, I promise. Just look at the collections that Acne, Burberry Prorsum and House of Holland showed during London Fashion Week.
Did I leave anything off the list? What trends are you excited to see, Glamazons?
