Call the Glambulance: World’s Most Offensive T-Shirt Company Pokes Fun at Rape and Murder

Glamazons, I’m a huge fan of those t-shirts with sayings that are clever, funny, flirty and even empowering but this particular one is highly offensive. A British company called Jamrags produced the t-shirt above that reads: “Calm down dear, let’s not turn this rape into a murder.” I’ll give you a second to pick your mouth up off the floor.

How could a company find humor in rape and murder? And what kind of person would actually purchase and wear a shirt like this?

Shockingly, such inflammatory sayings are par for the course for Jamrags, who also carry shirts stating, “Feminists are big, fat, hairy dykes!” and “I’m not racist. Racism is a crime and crime is for black people!” Wow. It’s mind-boggling to see that people would support clothing like this. We have got to do better.
