#NYFW: J.Crew Spring 2012 Collection
Oh, J.Crew. How do I love thee? I literally could count the ways. I really just want to throw these pictures up, drop the mic and exit stage left. That’s how strongly I feel about this collection. I’m so impressed how the brand has managed to stay true to itself and loyal customers with their first runway collection. The models even look like the ones in the catalog with the bright orange lips.
So here’s the scoop:
Inspiration: Jenna Lyons stayed loyal to J.Crew’s design aesthetic making the collection all about color and classic tailoring. “It’s the proportions that make it new,” said J.Crew’s Head of Women’s Design Marissa Webb.
Key Pieces: Cool color combinations, midi-skirts, oversized cashmere sweaters and that three piece uniform.
Who I Could See Wearing This Look: Solange Knowles, Katie Holmes, Michelle Obama and Katherine Heigl
Don’t you love the collection?
Stay Stylish,
Glamazon Channing
