Glam Scoop: Daphne Guinness for MAC, Kardashians Cover Lucky Magazine and More

So Day 1 and 2 of Fashion Week have been as crazy as you’d expect (especially with Fashion’s Night Out thrown in the mix), but it hasn’t stopped our favorite celebrities from announcing new makeup lines or gracing the cover of magazines. And you’ll be surprised to know which male stars have been bit by the Fashion Week bug and are now taking up designing! We’ve got all the news in today’s Glam Scoop! Let’s get to it!

Daphne Guinness for MAC

The best-dressed dame at the 2011 MET Gala is entering into the beautiful world of makeup. Daphne Guinness announced a new color cosmetics collection with MAC Cosmetics debuting on December 26th just in time for post-Christmas shopping. The collection will include rich, seasonal hues which to me means lots of dark, romantic colors that are super dramatic—and would you expect anything different from Daphne?

Are you excited for her collection with MAC? I can’t wait to try some of the colors (dark is like my thing!).

Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian Cover Lucky Magazine

While watching the KUWTK marathon on Sunday, I wondered was there a magazine the Kardashians haven’t covered. Turns out it was Lucky Magazine and now, the girls have finally worked their way onto that cover too.

The covers were revealed at the Lucky Magazine Fashion and Beauty Blogger Conference on Sept 7th and all three have a separate cover (naturally…).

Kourtney’s wearing a black and white striped shirt and full skirt, Khloe a sexy navy fitted dress and Kim’s in a sequined mini and white v-neck shirt. Cute!

So…who has the best cover? (We’re so bad!)

Ne-Yo Launching a Hat Line During Fashion Week

Though it seems every star is a designer these days (insert sideeye), here’s a collaboration that actually makes sense. Ne-Yo is designing a collection of hats to debut during New York Fashion Week.

I’m all for this as I’ve pretty much never seen the guy without a fedora so creating them is just a natural progression. What I don’t get? The name.

The brand is called “Francis Alargo” and was created in collaboration with America’s oldest hat company, Bollman. If that’s not high society enough, he’s debuting it at Saks Fifth Avenue during Fashion Week. Two snaps and a circle!

Can’t wait to see what styles he offers and you know, we’ll be covering it all here.

Are you checking for hats designed by Ne-Yo, Glamazons?

Dwyane Wade Launching Fashion Line, But Doesn’t Have A Name For It Yet

You read right. The Miami Heat star is following in Amare Stoudemire‘s footsteps and trying his hand at designing! He shared his designer plans with The Cut Blog at QVC Fashion’s Night Out event—but he’s stumped on a name. He told them he’s looking for a name with: “a nice, you know, French kind of ring to it. Something that rolls off the tongue.”

Umm, okay – what’s with these guys and their obsession with Paris (a la Kanye)? What do you think Wade should name his line? Will you shop it, no matter what it’s called?

Fashion’s Night Out Chaos – Missoni for Target Forced To Close and Kardashian Mania

Remember in my Fashion’s Night Out roundup post when I said that the night is becoming less chaotic. Yeah, I was wrong. It turns out that I went to more demure places like Diane von Furstenberg and Lord and Taylor with Solange. The rest of New York City, conversely, was a well-dressed circus.

The Missoni for Target pop-up store (which I stopped by but abandoned once I saw the four-hour long line) was forced to close early because the Fashion’s Night Out shoppers ransacked the shelves last night. By 10am, whatever was left on the shelves post-FNO was gone. Le sigh.

And they weren’t just crazy about clothes either. Buzz Feed shot a video of what the Kardashians’ arrival sounded like at their Dash store last night. Prepare yourself. There will be lots of screaming.

Scary.

Until tomorrow.

Kisses,

Glamazon Jessica
