Call the Glambulance: Fight Breaks Out Over Missoni for Target
The mayhem over Missoni for Target began long before it was even debuted. People were highly anticipating the release as soon as the collaboration was announced so it comes as no surprise that people went insane in stores.
The glambulances had to be called literally yesterday when it was reported that a Los Angeles Target became the scene of a fighting match for pieces from the collection. I know that the collection offers everything from bikes to bedding but is fighting for zig-zag prints really necessary?
Besides fighting, the Target site was down yesterday for most of the morning because of shopper overload, not to mention the crazy line at Bryant Park in NYC on Fashion’s Night Out.
I’m happy consumers are spending money but next time, let’s try not to avoid glambulance calls over things like clothes and furniture. Unless it’s Chanel for Target. Then, it’s totally warranted. (We kid!)
