In what would be one of the best collaborations in fashion yet, Kanye may be teaming up with Giuseppe Zanotti to design shoes for women. ::Faints::
“Kanye is always here in my factory. In the last three years, he has come here maybe every month and worked with the employees 10 to 12 hours a day,” said Zanotti, “[Kanye] loves learning about shoes, both the design and construction, and we’ve tried to design something together.” – Giuseppe Zanotti speaking on Kanye West
I’m already super excited to see what he has in store for us for New York Fashion Week, which is only four weeks away so if this collaboration is really in the works, I’m not sure how I’d be able to contain myself.
A few features I’d expect to see in a Womens shoe designed by Kanye to include: platforms, animal prints, Swarovski and bright red colors. Oh and fringe, LOL.
He’s surrounded by glamorous women all the time including the likes of Beyonce and former girlfriend Amber Rose so of course I’d expect him to create shoes that will make heads turn. What do you think Glamazons?
In other Kanye news, the rapper along with Jay-Z, called upon Givenchy’s designer, Riccardo Tisci to create the cover for their Watch The Throne album.
The artwork for Watch The Throne also contains each musician’s face merged with wild animals creating a sort of “Thriller” effect.
