Today we’ll give you the scoop on the talent that runs through the Gaga blood line, a look at which celebrities are debuting shoes during Fashion’s Night out and the trouble that fashion company Zara is facing. Let’s go!
Did you know that Lady Gaga’s baby sister was a designer?
Glamazons, if you thought that Lady Gaga was the only talented one in her family you were wrong. Lady Gaga’s baby sister Natali Germanotta (aka Baby Gaga), who was her date to the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards, is actually a fashion designer. She’ll be creating the costumes for the new off-Broadway show “Simon Says” debuting this Fall. The young designer has been studying fashion for years and umm, she’s sisters with Jean Paul Gaultier‘s muse! Love it!
Olivia Palermo, Scarlett Johansson, Hayden Panettiere and Michelle Trachtenberg are Designing Shoes with Stuart Weitzman!
On Fashion’s Night Out, Olivia Palermo, Scarlett Johansson, Hayden Panettiere and Michelle Trachtenberg will be debuting shoes they designed with Stuart Weitzman to benefit cancer research. Above is a preview of the shoes Olivia Palermo designed, which of course are glamazing! Don’t the feathers give the shoes the perfect glam touch? What do you think of Olivia’s shoe, Glamazons?
You can see the full collection, which retails for $425 and up, on September 8th at Stuart Weitzman’s Madison Avenue store in Manhattan. All proceeds will go to Harvard professor Marsha Moses’ ovarian cancer research.
Beyonce’s Commercial for New Fragrance Pulse – Do you feel the power?
Glamazons, remember a few weeks ago when we reported to you that Queen B was releasing a new fragrance called Pulse? Well, the official commercial for Beyonce‘s new fragrance has finally been released.
WERK!! What do you think Glamazons? Is Beyonce bringing it or what? Love the fact that they have Run The World (Girls) instrumentals playing in the background!
Zara’s Suppliers Accused of Slave Labor
Fashion company Zara’s suppliers have found themselves in a heep of trouble. There’s been an investigation going on for the past few months by São Paulo’s Bureau of Labor and Employment and the findings will shock you!
In May, they discovered that a few dozen people were working under unsafe unsanitary conditions and paid less than minimum wage. One worker was reported to be as young as 14 years of age!!!
It totally breaks my heart to see things like that happening and I hope for the workers’ sake that they will stop these practices immediately.
