First Look!: Banana Republic ‘Mad Men’ Line

“Mad Men,” the old AMC show about a 1960s ad agency, has brought its fashion to Banana Republic with a 65-piece collection!

Set to debut next week, the line was inspired by the casts’ legendary 60s outfits. This is the perfect collection for Banana Republic because it has always been one of Gap Inc.’s best brands, carrying trendy, preppy and vintage style clothing with a decidedly modern twist.

“Mad Men” costume designer Janie Bryant and creative director for Banana Republic Simon Kneen collaborated together for the anticipated line on pieces that Bryant says come directly from the show!

Speaking of the show, it will return to television in 2012 (if you’re waiting breathlessly like me, that’s good news!) so the collection will hold us all over until then.

Don’t you just love? The collection includes tailored dresses and suits in sophisticated colors like navy and black with 60s style accessories like gloves, top hats and killer shades.

Kudos to Banana Republic and “Mad Men” for a great collaboration! I’m in love, are you? What do you think of the line, Glamazons?

Toodles Luvs,

Glamazon Krystal
