Fashion News: Hailee Steinfeld Named New Face of Miu Miu

One of my favorite fashion brands, Miu Miu, has tapped actress Hailee Steinfeld to be the new face. What an accomplishment at a mere 14 years-old! I can’t even say with confidence I had style then (umm…total awkward teen phase).

Steinfeld’s teenage years are a tad different than mine though. She rocked Miu Miu and Prada regularly on the red carpet during awards season so this endorsement deal was clearly in the works for some time. And she’s the youngest person to ever star in the brand’s ads, a year younger than Lindsay Wixon who was featured at 15.

Though I think Steinfeld is adorbs, it’s a little puzzling that she was tapped since I never thought of Miu Miu as a teen brand. Either way, I’m happy for the actress whose first ads for the brand will appear in August.
