Spring 2011 Trend Spotlight: The High Split

Considering that the hemlines have dropped to the ground this season, it was only a matter of time before designers like Emilio Pucci and Victoria Beckham injected sex appeal into maxi length skirts and dresses. (The trend will go through the Fall too with sightings at Jason Wu, Lanvin and Michael Kors to name a few).

I used to think that sky high splits were reserved for Glamazons on the red carpet and Bond girls but I stand corrected!

With Olivia Palermo, Victoria Beckham, and Emma Stone looking glam in dangerous splits, this trend will definitely give you a leg up on the competition.
