A Day in the Life: #PrettyGirlsRockDresses Fashion Mixer at the Tracy Reese Boutique! [Pictures Added!]

Glamazons!

We’re thrilled to share that the Pretty Girls Rock Dresses mixer, hosted by The Glamazons, Angela Yee, Bernie of COCOACHiC Beauty and Claire of The Fashion Bomb, was a fabulous success! You came out in your pretty dresses, fab stilettos and fierce attitudes for one of the best events I’ve attended in NYC in forever!

The swank Tracy Reese boutique (641 Hudson) with its colorful florals and plush couches was the perfect backdrop for our equally chic, fashionable crowd.

Glamazons and stylish gentleman alike braved the rainy weather, coming out in floral frocks, printed maxidresses and sharp, tailored suits.

And when it came to shoes…

…every girl had on a fierce stiletto!

I wore a Lanvin for H&M dress, Aldo sandals and clutch, vintage jewelry and Rimmel London lipstick in Berry Queen.

While DJ Tyger Lily spun tunes like Keri Hilson’s “Pretty Girl Rock,” the crowd sipped Dot Au cocktails (grapefruit was amaze!), made new friends and mixed and mingled with old ones. The crowd was fabulosity personified: stylish, graceful and elegant.

We topped off the night with an impromptu runway show! Hosts Bernie of COCOACHiCBeauty and Claire Sulmers of The Fashion Bomb along with Ferocia and I picked our favorite dresses of the night.

Fierce ladies including fab plus-size model Chasity Saunders, PR guru Sandrine Charles and LoveBrownSugar founder, Christina Brown (pictured below), made the Tracy Reese boutique a veritable catwalk, strutting through the store in their floral frocks, ruched dresses and printed maxis.

The winner? The gorgeous Tiffany Hawkins in a Lanvin for H&M tulle dress.

Everyone raved that she totally deserved the win.

That spirit of camaraderie and style defined last night’s event. From donating used handbags to Dress for Success and complimenting each other on our fabulous fashions, we proved that sisterhood and philanthropy will never go out of style.

Thank you to the crowd of beautiful people who came out including Sway of MTV, Elaine Welteroth of Ebony Magazine, Christian Law of Fresher Than Chris, Jared Lowe of The Lowe Factor, Renae Bluitt of In Her Shoes Blog, Bridgette Bartlett of People Magazine, Dana Storm Santiago of Jones Magazine, Kai Taylor, Melissa Cornelius and so many more!

Special Thanks to: Tracy Reese, Bernie of COCOACHiC Beauty and Dress for Success.

We appreciate everyone who came out to support and even those that couldn’t make it but spread the word. See you at the next one!
