Coachella Fashion Round-Up: Solange Knowles, Nicole Richie, Katy Perry & More

Now that this year’s Coachella Music & Arts Festival has officially ended, it’s time to pick out our favorite looks.

Coachella dressing encourages everyone to go boho and some were able to easily achieve the look (boho-lovers like Nicole Richie, Joy Bryant and Solange), some added their own rockstar spin (Rihanna) and others came somewhere out of left field (Katy Perry).

Here we go:


 
Fab mom, designer and fashionista extraordinaire Nicole Richie kept it cool in a Mulberry blouse and bag with a pair of tiny faded short shorts. (Wait, she’s had two kids…and has that body?! Oh, okay.)
 

 
Katy Perry strolled through the festival in a D&G floor-length lace dress, long strand of pearls and Illesteva shades.  I mean was she going to rock out at a music festival or heading to a baptism? I would be showing off that hot bod of mine if I was Katy!
 

 
Solange Knowles rocked a bandeau and printed skirt with vintage-style tortoise shades. Too cute! And can we add her body looks amazing?
 

 
One of my all-time favorites, Erykah Badu hit the stage and I’m living for this tribal fashion moment she’s giving which is so unique and so Erykah.  I just feel like she’s about to march off the stage and go to war.  While that didn’t happen, she did perform a number of her classic hits and even gave a preview of a new song she was working on.
 

 
Vanessa Hudgens was giving me hippie chic as she sipped on mojitos while enjoying the music.  I loved the tribal look with the classic Coachella facepaint, feathers in her hair and the knitted halter top.  Doesn’t she just look like she’s having the best time?!
 

 
A true definition of a rockmom (word to June Ambrose) the beautiful Lauryn Hill rocked the crowd and performed some of her greatest hits.  I have to say this is the most ‘normal’ I’ve seen Lauryn look in a while, right…thanks to Jil Sander whose stripe dress she’s rocking. My only question is–wasn’t she hot?! I mean being on stage with that leather jacket on? But hey, if it works for her, it works for me.
 

 
Joy Bryant has always been one of my favorites.  She fit right in at Coachella in her usual boho chic garb.  I loved the moccasins and natural makeup look!
 

 
At first I had to do a double-take with Kate Bosworth.  Doesn’t she look like a gorgeous supermodel? She just looked so effortless in her aviators, khaki sneakers and American flag tank!
 

 
As you guys may have seen earlier, I had a major girl crush moment with Rihanna‘s camouflage chic ‘fit.  She was able to channel her signature effortless rock star style and make it Coachella-friendly.
 

 
Chanel Iman went for a softer fashion moment by comparison—and she looked like an absolute doll! She had a great time in her pink lacy dress! And her nude sandals make her already perfect legs look even longer.  I’m a huge fan of big floppy hats too–great sun protection and style.
 

 
I have to admit, Dita Von Teese was my best-dressed out of everyone.  She didn’t let the 100+ degree desert weather or ubiquitous boho trend impact her style.  The burlesque beauty wore a nautical inspired outfit with red hot cat eye glasses.
 
Only Dita would finish her look off with a charmed Chanel bag, Moschino jacket and fierce red lip in the middle of Coachella. She even tweeted:

“If you can’t have fun with music festival fashion, when can you? I love Coachella because I saw a grown-man do a cartwheel tonight.”

However, my top pick was challenged by one of my favorite and rather hilarious fashion editors, Derek Blasberg. After seeing Kanye’s Celine lewk, he said:
