AD GLAM: Estee Lauder Launches New Multicultural Ad Campaign

If you ever thought of Estee Lauder as just being your great auntie’s brand (or, even worse as one that definitely doesn’t feature shades that look good on you) think again! Wednesday night the brand showcased new advertising that features models of various ethnicities: Joan Smalls, African American; Constance Jablonski, Caucasian; and Liu Wen, Asian.

This ad (pictured above) will launch the brand’s new philosophy, “Every Woman Can Be Beautiful”  as well as two new products: Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator and Idealist Cooling Eye Illuminator. (Each product will hit an Estee Lauder counter near you in June.) The Even Skintone Illuminator helps to combat uneven skin tone in all ethnicities while the Eye Illuminator addresses dark circles and puffiness for all skin tones. Now, you probably know by now my disgustingly obsessive obsession with all things skincare, so I can’t wait to get my hands on these products (especially that Eye Illuminator as I have a serious fixation on anything I can smear underneath my eyes..weird, I know).

What do you think of this new ad from Estee Lauder, Glamazons? Are you excited to see that the brand is finally starting to cater more to all ethnicities?
