What’s better than Fashion Week?! Seeing one of my favorite actors (and crushes…sigh!) on the front row at the show! Actor Bruce Willis showed up with his gorge wife Emma Heming to watch the Erin Wasson show and we even made eye contact for like 2 seconds. Alright, maybe he was just looking at the camera, but I’d like to think that he was really looking at me. That’s him pictured below with the designer Erin Wasson’s mom…I have no clue who that guy on the left is haha
Check out my pics that I took backstage (and frontstage) of the show tonight!
A model getting her eye makeup done backstage at Erin Wasson…don’t know her name, but she had the loveliest french accent!
The finished makeup look created by head makeup artist Charlotte for Maybelline. The inspiration behind the look was of a girl who’s been out in the desert waaaay too long…like this chick has just been roaming around a lost mess for awhile…a lost FASHIONABLE mess lol
For a base, Charlotte used the Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse to create a faux tan, then powdered it down with the Maybelline powders to “make it looks like she’s been hot.” She only used a bit of the Maybelline Stiletto Mascara on the eyelashes and actually brushed eye makeup underneath the eye to give her a cool smokey eye. For the lips, she dabbed on Maybelline Color Sensation lipstick in #435 and then added mineral powder top to give the lips a matte look.
True to the “I’ve been roaming in the desert” look head hairstylist Kevin gave the models some crazy tousled tresses. To give her them this look, the hair was misted with Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray and then twisted (as shown above). Then the twists were taken down and hands were used to rough it up.
Here’s one the hairstylists tussling a models’ hair.

Spotted: Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen sitting on the front row at the Erin Wasson show!
The live band, Gang Gang Dance, playing during the show.
The designer Erin Wasson blows kisses to the audience at the end of the show.
Then, on the next show, Katie Stern Venexiana, where I spotted my fashionable fabulous friends Phil Askeroth and handbag designer Lea Muses.
